Beatriz Romanos is a consultant and innovation coach specialising in the area of Food Tech and Food Innovation. She develops her professional work in three areas: coach&advisory, analysis&research and information. Before entering in the food tech world, Beatriz Developed her career for more than 15 years in the field of technology, in leading companies such as Qualcomm, NTT Communications or COLT.
As a consultant, Beatriz collaborates with startups, companies and organizations in the food and food service industries, helping them in their innovation processes to create new products, services or business models. Among other methodologies, Beatriz has specialized in the Open ExO and Purpose Launchpad that she applies to this industry.
Beatriz Romanos is a consultant and certified coach of the Open ExO innovation methodology, and a certified mentor of Purpose Launchpad aimed at generating and driving impactful innovation projects.
She also participates as a trainer and mentor of startups in various accelerators such as Culinary Action! of the Basque Culinary Center, Porcinnova, METRO Accelerator Program by Techstars (Hospitality and Retail programmes), TERRA Accelerator by Rabobank, or Talentum Startups-elBulliLab.
Beatriz is founder and editor of TechFood Magazine, the leading publication on food innovation and food tech. Since 2014, she has been analysing the impact of technology, digitalisation and innovation in general on the world of food.
As part of her dissemination role, Beatriz also participates as a speaker at conferences and specialised congresses.
In the field of investigation and analysis, Beatriz has directed several research projects such as: Digitalisation of the Restaurant, (with BCC) or Delivery in Spain, Challenges and Future Scenarios, (with IFEMA), beside several reports about trends and other topics related to innovation in food industry.
